What is DSL?
DSL is an asymmetrical digital subscriber line(ADSL) service, enabling data to travel at different speeds upstream or downstream.  DSL is a broadband network service that uses common phone lines to transmit data many times faster than tradiational analog services.

How does DSL work?.
A DSL modem is connected to your phone line.  This modem transmits the data quickly over your phone line, enabling voice and data to be transmitted at the same time.  This is what gives you the freedom to talk simultaneously without any interruptions to your Internet connection.  If you're talking on the phone while surfing, your speeds will not be affected and your voice connection will be as clear as it has always been.  Because iMetWeb.Net DSL is an "instant on" connection there is no waiting for a dial-up connection -with just a click of the mouse you're surfing the net!
